After the metering pump is installed, we hope to be able to run normally, which can reduce many costs, but sometimes the metering pump is running without water or insufficient flow, so what causes such a situation to occur, and how to solve this problem, the small part introduces to you.
1. Reasons and solutions of metering pump failing to discharge water:
1. The inlet and outlet valves are not opened, the inlet and outlet pipelines are blocked, and the abortion impellers are blocked. The solution is to remove the blockage.
2. Hot water pump suction pipe leaks. Tighten each sealing surface to remove air.
3. The running direction of the motor is not right, and the speed of the motor without phase is very slow. Adjust the direction of the motor and strengthen the connection of the motor.
4. The metering pump is not filled with liquid and there is air in the pump chamber. Open the top cover of the pump or the exhaust valve to exhaust the air.
5. Import and export water supply is insufficient, suction range is too high, bottom valve leaks. Inspection and adjustment of shutdown (this phenomenon is easy to occur in the use of water pipes connected to the grid and with suction range).
6. Pipeline resistance is too large, and the selection of centrifugal pump is inappropriate. Reduce pipe bends and re-select pumps.
2. Reasons for insufficient flow of metering pumps and how to solve them:
1. The inlet and outlet valves are not opened, the inlet and outlet pipelines are blocked, and the abortion impellers are blocked. The solution is to remove the blockage.
2. The impellers of pipes and runners are partially blocked, and the scale deposits and the opening of valves are insufficient. Remove obstruction and adjust valve opening.
3. Low voltage of metering pump. Voltage stabilizing
4. Impeller wear. Replace the impeller.
5. Use above rated flow rate. Adjust flow and turn off outlet valve
6. Excessive suction. Reduce the suction distance.
7. Wear of pump bearing. Replace bearings.
